I’m a HUGE fan of Dark Erotica and Dark Romance books. Think taboo topics, dubious consent, enforced sexual submission, Stockholm Syndrome… well you get the drift.
They are dark and steamy most of the time but the best thing for me, overall, is the psychological element. How I end up identifying with the heroine, even making the same choices… and even more surprising, feeling for the bad guy… When done right, they mess with your mind… in the best kind of way 🙂

I loved Destroyed by pepper winters!
You’ve got some excellent books here…. The Tied Man I will never forget and will always be in my top three. But recently I read Grace Street by Ella Dominguez and oh my LORD! That went straight into my number one spot! If you have read it then get it now, it’s awesomely dark and delicious!

My favorite would have to be anything by Julia Sykes. I can’t narrow the Impossible series down to just 1. They are all so good and keep getting better.

I recently finished the Captive in the Dark series by CJ ROberts and I really really liked it, however, my #1 dark reak is still The Consequences Series by Aleatha Romig. A total psychological mindfuck!

Amazing giveaway Jessy!!! This one is right up my alley, I love dark reads that mess with your mind! Currently reading Mud Vein. My all time favorite is Comfort Food by Kitty Thomas, it was my first introduction into dark erotica and it’s really stuck with me. I also love Joey W. Hill’s Vampire Queen series although they are more erotic than they are dark, but dark and twisted nonetheless.
